Metal’lum Engineering has its origins in South Africa from the mid 60’s as SAIT Engineering which used manufacture and refurbish underground coal mining equipment.
The company then moved into the crushing and screening market from the early 90’s as a hicencee of O & K Hazemag with concentrated efforts into Africa. In 1999, we began to export into the Middle East where over many years we were the market leader (Hiberia) in Horizontal Shaft Impactors with over 400 units manufactured, delivery and commissioning. According to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce (2000 - 2010), approximately around 60% of all crushed aggregates used in the construction of Dubai went through one of our Hiberia Horizontal Shaft Impact Crushers.
Our value proposition is to offer coast effective crushing and screening solutions from 5tph to 600tph. With special focus for medium operations having to operate under the current economic trading environment which includes a refurbishment facility for our clients.
